Computer not powering on?
Owners of older computers (6+ years) should probably stop reading and throw their computers into the recycle bin. Those of you with newer machines, if your computer is not powering on it usually indicates a problem with either the power supply or the motherboard. Here’s what’s involved…
Step 1 – Backup – Usually One Hour
Our system makes the Overhaul 100% RISK FREE. We backup all of your important data before anything is done.
Step 2 – Cleaning – One Hour
A tremendous amount of dirt and dust accumulates inside your computer and can cause problems with the internal components. We clean your entire computer both inside and out making it look brand new.
Step 3 – Format/Verify – One Hour
Wipe out the machine! The entire computer is formatted and the disk drives are all thoroughly checked for integrity. After this we”ll have a clean blank canvas to start with!
Step 4 – Operating System Install – One hour
The Operating System (Windows, Mac, Linux) Will be installed with the correct options for your equipment and desired usage.
Step 5 – Rebuilding the Computer – From One to Three Hours
From the ground up we rebuild the entire computer; during this step we take care of all the behind the scenes “techie” work. We’ll install all the drivers to make all the parts of your computer function correctly, install only the programs you want, no more 30 day trials or pre-loaded junk! The computer will then be optimized for the fastest possible performance.
Note About The Operating System: If you are still using Windows 98, 2000 or Millennium we can upgrade your computer to Windows XP plus add additional memory.
Step 6 – Updating – One Hour
From the day you bought your computer there are constantly updates and improvements being made to the software that runs on it. Now that a solid ground work has been laid the computer is updated to have all of the latest drivers and security patches.
Step 7 – Restoring – One Hour
All of your documents, photos, music, E-mail settings, address books, Internet Explorer favorites are scanned for spyware and viruses before being copied back to your computer. If any infections are found they are cleaned by our server then copied back to your overhauled computer. It’s almost like running your car through the car wash.
